Roasted Tomato Basil Soup with Tortellini

• 12 Roma tomatoes • 6 cloves garlic • 1 small yellow onion • tomato paste • 3 stalks fresh basil • veggie broth • 1 package pre-made cheese tortellini • . Roasted tomato soup: roast halved Roma tomatoes and garlic cloves at 450° for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, sauté yellow onion in olive oil with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon tomato paste. Add roasted garlic and tomatoes and stalks of basil. Mash with potato masher until desired consistency reached. Remove basil stems and add package of tortellini and simmer for 8 minutes. . CONTAINS: Milk, Wheat.
What an easy, delicious recipe! I could make this with home grown tomatoes, Basil.
